Statement from the Director
Here at The Front Porch, you will meet a staff that is connected as colleagues and also as a family. We value connection and relationship as the beginning of good listening and healing. We believe that we should never suffer alone, and that people are doing the best they can in every situation.
As the director of the The Front Porch, it is my goal to educate myself and this staff of the current scientific models of healing. One shared goal is the education of Interpersonal Neurobiology and Family Systems. This lens opens doors into the unique way each individual heals and relates to the self and others in suffering or disconnect. Mindfulness is a tool we use that unites and strengthens the body and mind, this practice enables us to slow down and peer inward in a kind and curious way. We look forward to walking next to each person’s unique path to their inner wisdom that will eventually lead them to healing.
“Try this debut album that includes something for everyone, done in her soft soothing tone for children and adults. These practices can calm anxiety, reduce muscle tension, increase awareness and add joy to your daily life.”
